The idea of corporate volunteering originates in the United States, where it originated in the early 1900s. Today, it has become common practice for companies, especially in Europe and North America.

Having analyzed the reasons for the emergence of corporate volunteerism in domestic companies, we can say that the first and most important of them is to strengthen the trend of development of corporate social responsibility of the organization. An equally significant reason is related to the desire:
develop corporate culture in the company,
increase internal loyalty of the organization's team,
strengthen the idea of social responsibility in employees,
stabilize team-building relationships.

Corporate volunteering in Kazakhstan, as in other CIS countries, has its own distinctive features, which are determined by a combination of external and internal factors, including the historical and cultural traditions of society, socio-economic and political conditions of development, as well as the influence of international trends and the spread of best practices of the organization.

At the same time, the initiative to develop corporate volunteerism on the part of the management corps is dictated by the desire to:
maximize the potential of the team,
leadership qualities, employees,
provide an opportunity for self-realization of not only professional, but also personal competencies.

Another significant reason for the development of corporate volunteerism is the desire of employees to implement volunteer activities within and under the company's aegis.
